Description

ALPHA-ARBUTIN is one of the most efficient skin brighteners, is widely accepted, and has been rated well by consumers. In vivo, tests proved ALPHA-ARBUTIN is more effective at 1.0% than Beta-Arbutin and 9 times more effective than Beta-Arbutin in vitro. Using specific enzyme transformation technology high purity is guaranteed. ALPHA-ARBUTIN is a pure, water-soluble, crystalline, white to off-white powder for cosmetic application.

Appearance: White to Off-White Powder.


Solubility: Highly soluble in water.


Storage: It should be stored away from light and humidity at a temperature of 15 to 25°C.


Shelf life: Stored at the above condition, it may be stored for 3 years.

Formulation Guide

It should be processed at a maximum temperature of 40 and incorporated into the aqueous phase of a cosmetic formulation.
The final formulation should have PH between 3.5 and 6.5.
At PH higher than 8, it is likely to hydrolysed into hydroquinone.
The recommended rate of use: 0.2 to 2%.
